Musical Director - Mr Timothy Beilby

Tim Beilby began playing the violin at the age of 12.  After studying for four years at The Birmingham Conservatoire, where he won The Herbert Lumby violin prize, he went on to teach for 3 years in Iceland where he did an extensive solo concert tour.

He has taught for the Birmingham Music Service for over 20 years and is also a level 4 trained Suzuki violin teacher.

As well as being a violin teacher he is a very experienced orchestral  and chamber music player.  He is a member of The Highbury String Quartet and, in addition,  coaches several quartets thus providing further opportunities for his pupils.

 

Members of the Fuoco Strings, and Apprentices,  are all taught by Mr Beilby and he very kindly gives his time freely to the Fuoco Strings.
